RALEIGH, NC — Between tree lightings, parades and holiday markets, this November is going to be busy!
November 1-6
November 1-6: Celebrity Artist Alexandra Nechita Exhibit – LaMantia Gallery, Raleigh’s premier fine art gallery, is proud to announce its presentation of the ground-breaking exhibition “Alexandra Nechita: Setting the Stage.” This extraordinary collection of new works including magnificent sculpture by renowned celebrity & visual artist Alexandra Nechita will be on exhibition and available for acquisition at the gallery in its’ limited engagement through Sun., Nov. 6, 2022.
November 1-6: Dear Evan Hansen – A letter that was never meant to be seen, a lie that was never meant to be told, a life he never dreamed he could have. This show centers on Evan Hansen, who just wants to fit in. See it on stage at DPAC through Nov. 6.
November 2: Stargazing at The Willard – Join Raleigh Astronomy Club for views of the starry skies from the rooftop of The Willard on Wed., Nov. 2, 7-9 p.m. They will have views of Jupiter, Saturn, and the moon.
November 3: Reba McEntire at PNC Arena – Country music icon Reba McEntire will perform live at PNC Arena on Nov. 3 with special guest Terri Clark.
November 3: Taste of the Town – Taste of the Town will be held at The Rickhouse, overlooking the famous Durham Athletic Park, the original home of the Durham Bulls! This brand new event will bring together favorite Bull City restaurants, breweries, artists and musicians for an evening of entertainment, community, and delicious food and drinks—all while raising critical funds and awareness to further the mission of saving and restoring sight.
November 4-6: DECO Raleigh’s 10-Year Anniversary Celebration – The shop on Salisbury St. is celebrating their 10-year anniversary, Nov. 4-6, with sales, music, refreshments, giveaways and some surprises, too—stop in and say hello and get going on your holiday shopping!
November 4: Garner Night Market – Showcasing Garner’s creativity in an open air, free downtown night market. Find locally-made goods and enjoy a night filled with music and entertainment with Garner area artisans, food, and drinks from 5 to 9 pm
November 4: Startup Holiday Market – Raleigh Founded will host this Holiday Market on Friday, Nov. 4 from 6 to 9 pm The space will be filled with local startups, pop-up shops, and vendors to ring in the holiday season.
November 5: Fall Arts Fair – Get an early start on your holiday shopping on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm at Fred Fletcher Park. The fair will feature over 50 local artist vendors working in various mediums. The family-friendly event includes live music, food trucks, and hands-on arts activities and demonstrations led by arts center teaching artists.
November 5: MAKRS @ Golden Belt – Markets at Golden Belt Campus will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month with a new batch of vendors. Join in for live music, food, and drinks as you shop from more than 40 local vendors!
November 5: A Concert of Canceled Music – This all-classical concert will feature masterworks which have either been suppressed or put under threat due to social, political, or other non-musical controversies attached to them. Prepare to be surprised during the show Nov. 5 to 7 pm at Riverside High School in Durham.
November 5-6: The International Festival 2022 – Celebrate a variety of international holidays during this event at the NC State Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a holiday market, performances and food.
November 6: City of Oaks Marathon – The 15th annual City of Oaks Marathon is returning on Nov. 6. The race will include a children’s run, 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon
November 7-13
November 10-12: Moonlight in the Garden – Bring your family and friends to stroll through the garden, listen to a live band, grab a bite to eat from a food truck, roast a marshmallow or two at the fire pits, and sip a cup of hot apple cider, all while showing your support for the JC Raulston Arboretum. This event is happening Nov. 10-12 and 17-19.
November 10: Disney Junior’s Live on Tour: Costume Palooza – This show brings beloved Disney Junior characters and favorite Marvel Super Heroes together live on stage for a jam-packed, concert-style show with singing, dancing, acrobatics, and more. See it at DPAC.
November 11-13: Godfrey – See this comedian and actor on stage at Raleigh Improv.
November 11-13: Vintage Market Days – An upscale vintage-inspired market featuring original art, antique clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home decor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings, and more at the NC State Fairgrounds.
November 11: Lewis Black – Comedian Lewis Black brings his Off The Rails tour to DPAC.
November 12: Sneaker Affair – In honor of The Cranston Hargrove Memorial Arts Scholarship and in partnership with the Nasher Museum of Art. This will not be your average formal event! Break out your flyest sneakers and come party with purpose. Prizes will be awarded for Best Sneakers of the night. Music by 9th Wonder and DJ Face. Doors open at 7 pm
November 12: Randy Rainbow – Randy Rainbow is a New York Times best-selling author and four-time EMMY® nominated American comedian, producer, actor, singer, writer, and satirist known for his popular YouTube series, The Randy Rainbow Show. See him on stage at DPAC on Nov. 12.
November 12: BBQ Blues & Brews – Southwestern Wake county’s biggest beer and bbq music festival of the year is coming to Downtown Fuquay-Varina, Saturday, Nov. 12 from noon to 4 pm
November 13: Adam Sandler – Adam Sandler will be bringing his unique brand of comedy and song to PNC Arena in Raleigh on Nov. 13.
November 13: Picnic and Wine Pop Up at The Meadows – Sip and savor local wine and charcuterie and live music while picnicking on 150 acres of natural preserve in the heart of Raleigh. Tickets are on sale now.

November 15-20: Hairspray – You Can’t Stop the Beat! HAIRSPRAY, Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical comedy phenomenon is back on tour. See it at DPAC Nov. 15-20.
November 16: Vidrio’s Taste Tour of the Mediterranean: France – Raleigh’s Vidrio restaurant hosts a series of monthly dinners called Taste Tour of the Mediterranean: A Culinary Tour, led by Executive Chef Saif Rahman. The destination and menu inspiration changes each month as chef Rahman and the kitchen team work their way through the Mediterranean. The next multi-course meal is Taste Tour of the Mediterranean, Destination: France. The price for this family meal is $200 per person with wine pairings, plus tax and gratuity.
November 17: 2022 Turkey Ball – The Turkey Ball will be held at Mulino Italian Kitchen and Bar on Nov. 17. It will feature heavily passed hors d’oeuvres of Italian favorites and one drink ticket. For just $45, you can sponsor a local family in need’s Thanksgiving turkey and get a ticket to this event.
November 17: Raleigh Night Market – Showcasing Raleigh’s creativity in Moore Square in downtown Raleigh! Find locally-made goods and enjoy a night filled with music and entertainment with Triangle area artisans, food, and drinks.
November 18: Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting – The annual Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting will be held Friday, Nov. 18 from 5:30 to 8 pm, in front of Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.
November 19: Raleigh Christmas Parade – This annual parade will roll through Raleigh on Nov. 19.
November 19: 27th Annual American Indian Heritage Celebration – With a virtual Education Day on Friday and an in-person festival on Saturday, multiple demonstrations, presentations, and performances highlight the traditional and contemporary artistic, scientific, historic, and cultural contributions of American Indians in North Carolina. The in-person event will be at the North Carolina Museum of History.
November 19-20: Moonlight in the Garden – Bring your family and friends to stroll through the garden, listen to a live band, grab a bite to eat from a food truck, roast a marshmallow or two at the fire pits, and sip a cup of hot apple cider, all while showing your support for the JC Raulston Arboretum. This event wraps up this weekend.
November 19-20: Winter Wonderland – Park West Village hosts this event on Nov. 19 and 20. Kids of all ages will enjoy a variety of activities including train rides around the district, story time with Santa, food trucks and hot beverages, Snowzilla toboggan slide, face painting, holiday crafts and more.
November 19-20: NC Korea Fest – Non-profit organization, InWave will host its 6th Annual NC Korea Fest at the Exposition Center at the NC State Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday.
November 20: Pop Swap – Come shop a huge array of local vendors, support the community, and maybe even get all your holiday shopping done at this Pop-Up market & swap meet at Durham Central Park on Nov. 2 from 11 am to 3 pm

November 22 and 23: Harry Connick, Jr. – Celebrate the holidays with this show at DPAC on Nov. 22 and 23.
November 23 and 25: Family Fun Concert with the North Carolina Symphony: The Polar Express – Paintings from the Caldecott Medal-winning book The Polar Express appear on a giant screen above the stage as baritone Scott MacLeod and a chorus of children join the Symphony to bring this magical holiday tale to life at this festive family concert at Meymandi Concert Hall on November 23 and 25.
November 24: TROSA Turkey Trot 5K – The 5K will start and finish on TROSA’s campus. All race participants will receive a long-sleeve race shirt, finishers award, chip-timed race results, and post-race refreshments! Plus, overall winners will receive prizes from Bull City Running Co.
November 25-Dec. 24: WRAL Nights of Lights- Brighten your holiday season with WRAL Nights of Lights Drive-Thru Light Show at Dorothea Dix Park, brought to you by WRAL/Capitol Broadcasting Company in partnership with the City of Raleigh.
November 25: Dirty Dancing In Concert – Enjoy the digitally remastered hit film like never before on a full-size cinema screen, with a live band and singers performing the film’s iconic songs during this show at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium on Nov. 25.
November 25: Soccer Fan Fest – Worldwide soccer fans unite for soccer’s biggest event of the year and Raleigh Parks is excited to celebrate. Head to Moore Square on Fri., Nov. 25 from 11 am to 4 pm for this event featuring Knockerball, human foosball, Teqball and giant soccer. There will be a soccer skills clinic. Enjoy arts and crafts, international food trucks and a beer garden.
November 26: Mannheim Steamroller Christmas – Mannheim Steamroller Christmas by Chip Davis has been America’s favorite holiday tradition for over 35 years. See it live on stage Nov. 26 at DPAC.
November 29-Dec. 3: Elf the Musical – ELF The Musical is the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole. See this show on stage at DPAC through Dec. 3.
